Savings and Checking Accounts
Establish yourself as a member of the Area Community Credit Union by opening a Regular Share (savings) Account. The minimum balance is only $5. When you are a credit union member, you are a partial owner, so you have a voice in the direction of the credit union. You also have access to all of the products and services offered, including very competitive loan rates and terms as well as excellent service designed to meet your needs.

Regular Share (Savings) Accounts
This account establishes you as a member of the credit union. The minimum balance is only $5. Dividends are paid out annually. The rate of return depends on market conditions and the overall profitability of the credit union.

Share Draft (Checking) Accounts
No monthly service fee, no “per check” fee, and no required minimum balance. A debit card is included, and you may order paper checks for this account.

Money Market Accounts
Dividends are paid out quarterly. The rate of return depends on market conditions and the overall profitability of the credit union.

Certificate of Deposit (CD) Accounts
Low opening balance requirement of just $1,000. Highly competitive rates and various terms available. Give us a call to inquire about the most current CD rates and terms available. We go above and beyond to offer the best rates to our members.

Christmas Club/Vacation (Savings) Accounts
Designed to help you save for various expenses or events throughout the year. Utilize payroll deductions to pay yourself first. It’s an easy way to build your savings.
Loans
Our staff is not paid on commission or production bonuses. We never “push” a product that doesn’t make sense for you. As a not-for-profit organization, we act in your highest and best interest and apply “common sense” approach to lending.
